Leah grew up going to her parent’s vacation home on the island of Great Guana Cay in the Bahamas. It was the perfect place for her to marry Matt and to share her love for the island with her family and friends. I loved all of the thoughtfulness she included in her day. For instance, Leah wore a necklace with a cross on it that belonged to her dear friend, Anne. The cross was given to Anne by her grandparents for her christening. Anne passed away 7 years ago and her parents gave the cross to Leah. She also wore a wedding band on the necklace. The band belonged to her late grandfather. One final touch that Leah included was the pen used to sign their marriage license. She surprised Matt by using a pen that belonged to his father. Matt’s parent passed away when he was younger. In turn, Matt gave Leah a diamond bracelet that belonged to his mom as her wedding day present. We were honored to get to know this family and to spend the weekend with them.
