Tricia and Blake – May 30th – Watercolor, FL

Blake and Tricia met at Emory University.  She was on a blind date with one of Blake’s fraternity brothers when they first met. Funny enough, they are attending his wedding later this year! A couple of weeks later they met again at a fraternity/sorority mixer.  Fast forward four years later,  during their family’s annual beach trip in Watercolor, Blake proposed on the beach. A champagne celebration with her family followed for the most perfect evening. It was only fitting that the wedding take place in Watercolor too. Not only is it where they got engaged, but it is also almost the halfway point between their hometowns.

Tricia’s adorable flower girls were all sisters and the daughter’s of her cousin.  Her maid of honor was her younger sister, Becca, and she delivered the BEST toast! Tricia and Blake were married on Western Lake Park with a reception in the Lakehouse at Watercolor.  Their rehearsal dinner took place on the Inn Green.

Elaine and Chris – May 17th – Seaside, FL

Chris and Elaine met during her summer 2011 internship.  Chris was assigned as her mentor for the summer. Because they worked in the same department, they quickly became work friends.  Soon after, they realized they had so much chemistry and and began dating.  Chris proposed on May 16th, 2014 at sunset in Seaside, FL. They were on a vacation with her family, celebrating her mom’s birthday in the small, quaint beach town that has been her family’s home-away-from-home for the past 30 years.  Chris asked if she wanted to watch the sunset on the beach that night. While she didn’t think anything of it because the sunsets are a big spectacle every night in Florida. They rode bikes down to the Natchez Pavilion in Seaside, and after a couple of glasses of champagne, Chris handed her a card. She was suddenly clueing in, and got pretty nervous. The card had a picture of their chocolate lab wearing a sign that read, “Say Yes!”. She looked over and Chris was on one knee, and asked her to marry him. It was the happiest moment of her life and she was completely surprised, and could not have imagined a better proposal. Soon after her parents and brother joined to celebrate with champagne and an amazing sunset view.
