Ashton and Drake – March 23rd – Watercolor, FL

Ashton married the sweetest groom, Drake, who contacted us about 8 months ago asking if we could photograph his proposal to Ashton at Eden Gardens State Park. Drake arranged a local musician and me to be at the park prior to their arrival.  We hid until the right time.  Chris began to play their song on his guitar and Drake went down on one knee and proposed!  I had the amazing opportunity of photographing it all.  When Drake asked us about photographing the wedding,  I was thrilled!  He even asked Chris, the local musician,  to provide music on their wedding day.  Christina with Events by Nouveau Flowers provided an absolute dreamy ceremony and reception experience.  We feel extremely blessed to have been a part of their day.

Amanda and Joel – March 22nd – Carillon Beach, FL

Anytime I sit down to blog a wedding,  I try to recall what I remembered most about the day.  Hands down,  on Amanda and Joel’s wedding day,  I remember they laughed. A lot!  Amanda was one of the most carefree brides I have experienced.  Having Avis of Carillon Weddings as her planner helped make the day flawless too.  Myrtie Blue designed the ceremony and reception layout.  Confections on the Coast made both the bridal cake and the groom’s cake.   Amanda didn’t plan for any dancing at her wedding,  but her father couldn’t let her get away without a father daughter dance.  Just before leaving,  without announcing it,  he surprised her and shared his ear buds with his precious daughter and they shared a dance.  If you’re planning a wedding on 30A and plan on using “the Packard” as your get away car,  below you’ll see your personal driver.  Isn’t he handsome?
