Jennifer and Elliot – June 13th – Sandestin, FL

Jennifer and Elliot met when she came down to Destin on her Spring Break with her parents 4 years ago.  She decided one night to do something completely out of character and go out with some locals from Destin. While Jennifer was at a friend’s condo and deciding where to go, Elliot and his beach chair buddies from Fort Walton showed up. However, Jennifer didn’t really notice Elliot walk in, until later that night, when they had a friendly conversation at the bar. Not knowing what this would turn in to or if they would ever talk again, Elliot got Jennifer’s phone number and they continued to keep in touch.
Luckily being a teacher, and having her summers off, Jennifer moved down to Destin the Summer of 2011 to see what this relationship would turn into.
After a year of dating long distance, and Jennifer spending two summers in Destin, Elliot moved up to St. Louis to be with Jennifer and proposed 2 years later.
Before ever meeting Elliot, Jennifer had always wanted to get married in Destin, as her family had been coming down for as long as she can remember. Luckily, meeting Elliot in Destin, and with him being a local, a Destin wedding was the perfect choice!
The ceremony took place at Resurrection Catholic Church and the reception was at Burnt Pine Country Club in Sandestin, where Elliot and Jennifer’s father both surprised Jennifer by picking the song for each of their first dances. It was an unforgettable wedding ceremony, followed by a perfect reception where there was never an open spot on the dance floor!

Tricia and Blake – May 30th – Watercolor, FL

Blake and Tricia met at Emory University.  She was on a blind date with one of Blake’s fraternity brothers when they first met. Funny enough, they are attending his wedding later this year! A couple of weeks later they met again at a fraternity/sorority mixer.  Fast forward four years later,  during their family’s annual beach trip in Watercolor, Blake proposed on the beach. A champagne celebration with her family followed for the most perfect evening. It was only fitting that the wedding take place in Watercolor too. Not only is it where they got engaged, but it is also almost the halfway point between their hometowns.

Tricia’s adorable flower girls were all sisters and the daughter’s of her cousin.  Her maid of honor was her younger sister, Becca, and she delivered the BEST toast! Tricia and Blake were married on Western Lake Park with a reception in the Lakehouse at Watercolor.  Their rehearsal dinner took place on the Inn Green.
