The Le Mistral is Allie’s home away from home.   She and her family have vacationed there all of her life.  This made Carillon Beach the perfect place to create another memorable chapter in her life.

  5. Absolutely Gorgeous picutes Allie! I love so many of them! The wedding looked picture perfect!!

  6. What a beautiful wedding in every way especially our beautiful bride, Allie We are so thankful and proud to have been a part of it!

Paul and I had the amazing opportunity to be with Kendall and Preston’s family and friends for the whole wedding weekend.   We started with a welcoming party at the beautiful home of Kendall’s family in Seaside.

While the grownups enjoyed each others company the kids got to hang out in the game room and theater.  This was way cool!

The next day,  we were at Bentley’s on the Bay for the rehearsal dinner.

The wedding ceremony was in the Seaside Chapel.  Keely Thorne Events was outstanding helping Kendall plan for this unforgettable wedding.

Florals by the Sea provided truly breathtaking florals,  among too many other great details to list!

The wedding reception was at Watercolor Inn and Resort.  The cocktail hour was on the beach.  The guests then moved to The Inn Green for dinner,  then inside for more dancing.

  1. Thank you for capturing every magical moment. Every scene is so beautiful. So happy to be a part of the beautiful weekend. This brings back all the wonderful memories.

Diana and Nick were so much fun from the start!  We photographed their engagement session last year and were counting down the days to their wedding.  It’s A Shore Thing pulled it all together with the help of Townsend Catering and Nouveau Flowers.

Immediately after the ceremony,  Nick surprised Diana with a matching wedding band.

Another surprise for Diana was this ice sculpture.

  1. Love! I discovered your blog via Southern Weddings, and I love this bride’s dress and shoes and sass. She is so gorgeous. Beautiful work!

  2. Her freckles are my fave! Beautiful!

  3. I loved working on this wedding. I love the surprise ice sculpture with the monogram and the cups too. Thanks for capturing their details so amazingly.

Edith and Chad were married at the historic Houmas House on the Mississippi River.  She was gorgeous in her Enzoani Gown and Lazaro sash.

The gentleman spent time in the Turtle Bar for drinks and played a game of pool before the ceremony began.

The bell was rang just before Edith walked down the aisle to signify the wedding was about to begin.

A New Orleans Jazz Band played at the reception,  they were amazing!

Just on the other side of the get away car is the river’s levee.  Paul and I were amazed at how high the river was,  tree tops were barely peaking out.  The river was expected to crest the very weekend of the wedding.  Fortunately,  the levee held!

Chad and I love the way that you captured all the moments throughout the weekend The both of you truly made our wedding experience fun, easy, and memorable. All of our friends and family love the blog, as we are all looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures xoxo Edith

  2. The trumpeteer shot – love it!

Amanda and Brent were married at the beautiful Southwood Plantation.   Amanda wanted to have an heirloom theme throughout her day,  so she used many items from weddings that have taken place throughout her family’s history.  She wore her mother’s veil,  used the flower girl basket from her mother in law’s wedding,  and all the silver was borrowed from her mother in law and a close family friend.  She also arranged to have her grandmothers seated to the song played at her grandmother’s wedding,  Some Enchanted Evening.  In the foyer of the mansion,  she displayed generational wedding photographs,  I loved these!  The very week of the wedding,  Amanda and her father strung the cafe lights you see in the reception photograph.  What an amazing memory for them!  You did an outstanding job,  Amanda,  I wish you and Brent the very best!

  3. The most beautiful wedding I have ever had the pleasure of attending. The most stunning bride and handsome groom – and Valerie and Steve, you just outdid yourselves! This is textbook perfection – something for other brides to aspire to – love to all, jane

  4. The photos are amazing of course, but is there anyone out there who could provide some information on the wedding favors? Those little herb pots are too cute! Where did you find the pots, and were they pre-planted? Any tips on recreating? Thanks!

  5. Allison, I purchased the pots from Old Time pottery. I propagated rosemary from Brent’s grandmother’s rosemary bush. All I did was stick them in soil and water a lot until they caught on.

  6. Allison, feel free to email me, asutton32541@gmail.com, if you need anymore details : )

  7. whoa guys! love love love.

Amelia and Rodrick were married on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with their close family at their side.  It’s not uncommon for a groom to see the bride’s dress for the first time as she walks down the aisle,  but in this case,  Rodrick selected his attire and completely surprised Amelia!  I think they both looked stunning.

The most memorable moment was when Amelia realized no one had Rodrick’s ring.  Her brother quickly ran to their beach house to grab the ring,  in record time!

  5. Amelia & Rodrick, You both look so GREAT. Dashing & Beautiful. You both have the physical attributes to be “players” BUT I know that your eyes & heart belong solely to one another and to the TRUE GOD that you serve. Your wedding is so individualized & personal. It shows that you have a very distinct ability to think for yourselves. An admiral quality! And do not forget the love & generosity of your loving parents that helped you to make this lifetime event possible!

Melissa and Brian’s wedding ceremony was on the Western Green under an open air tent complete with chandeliers and  sheers that blew in the breeze.  Melissa’s gown is Cymbeline.  It’s layers were mimicked perfectly, by Confections on the Coast, on the wedding cake.  Events by Nouveau,  Townsend Catering along with It’s A Shore Thing made this a great day to remember.  Congratulations Melissa and Brian!

Their guests wrote well wishes on note cards that were personalized with the couple’s initial wax seal.
