This was our first time back to New Orleans since before Katrina. Paul is from there originally and it was quit an emotional visit, although a good deal of NOLA has bounced back, you can definitely see the trauma. Our good friend and AMAZING photographer Anna Kuperberg invited us to join her, Carla, and a few friends and family in New Orleans to document their birthday party. Anna will tell you they turned “90”. We are so proud of Anna as she was recently named one of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World by American Photo Magazine. Thank you so much, Anna and Carla, for taking such good care of us and giving us the opportunity to spend this time with you. We were honored!

I think we had the best party ever and you two captured it perfectly. It’s so New Orleans and it’s so us. I am so happy that you were there to be part of the fun. I will always look at these to remember what a fun time we had dancing and parading through the French Quarter with our dear family and friends.
